Apple iPad Preview
For those of you would couldn't wait to see how our applications look like on Apple iPad, here are a few sample screens when StepStones is ran as-is (no modification).
You should notice, in general, the larger pictures displayed correctly without much artifacts. However, the thumbnails and icons are not necessarily what we would prefer.
The Apple iPhone SDK 3.2 Beta for MacOS Snow Leopard has some very interesting functions that we may use. Until then, we are working extensive hours to enhance the thumbnails and icons for more pleasing visual presentation.

If you are an user of our Expressionist software, you would love iPad. The drill-down scrollable screens are much much faster, near silk-smooth.

In general, we cannot add new screen elements even iPad offers more workspace. It is because the same application must run on smaller iPhone and iPodTouch too.
However, users of iPACS will be delighted that, in version 2.0 (planned June 2010), we will allow up to 48 book tabs (currently only 6 is allowed), with some very fancy and rather unusual new elements to make it one of the very best assistive teaching tools out there.
