| News _________________________________________________ 2010-08-20: Our fifth application, h-Alpha, is currently reviewed by Apple, and should be available soon. The software will be FREE for the first 60 days. As usual, software update is always free from us. _________________________________________________ 2010-08-18: AdastraSoft.com has recently contacted by an legal entity in Europe, claiming our picture schedule / activity schedule product name is potentially in conflict with that entity's registered trademarks, even such trademarks actually have different spelling and are for completely unrelated services. The names are basically common English and are in use by numerous organizations in the United States. AdastraSoft.com's sole interests are of helping special-needs individuals to grow. We did not, have not, will not use any existing registered trademark to leverage our products. In fact, we have received considerable number of invitations to roadshow our products thru conferences, facilitated reviews, even cooked interviews, etc etc. Our focus remains, however, not really on the commercial aspects. Apple's application review is also very rigorous in making sure none of the submitted application - including the content - is in conflict of any copyrighted material, patent, or trademark. For instance, the early version of Expressionist was rejected because we pictured an stuff animal which look like a famous mouse character. Seriously, it just looked like one, but it was not the actual product from Disney, nor the stuff animal was an counterfeit Mickey Mouse toy. In any case, we sincerely hope, one day, we will go out of business because the world no longer needs special education software. Until then, we strive to continue to develop products that help our kids in needs. | ||||||||||||||||||
